News and Brags
May 2012: We still have Toy Manchesters, still love the breed, and are still
members of the AMTC. We are not involved in showing at this point, but may return
to the ring someday. We had a great time meeting people and learning the sport.
After five years of showing, we barely scraped the surface. There is so much more
to learn and do. Our boys have gotten involved with other activities as teen boys
do, so there isn't enough time in the day to train for dog shows.
Now our dogs spend their days lounging in the sun and snuggling with their
favorite people. Not a bad life.
January 2010: Asa tied for first place for the 2009 Best Junior Handler for Toy
Manchester Terriers, Tarren was next in line. They didn't show much in 2009, so
we were thrilled with the results. (High-five to all the Manchester juniors!)
December 2009: Great weekend at the Fayetteville show. Indy picked up another
point, and the boys each picked up showmanship points.
June 2009: We had a great time with all the Manchester folks at our National
Specialty. I also had my most embarrassing Manchester moment EVER in the
ring. At least the only injury was to my ego.
May 2009: Miss Marmaduke is a champion! She and Tarren started in the ring
together. He trained her and did all the handling. We are very proud of both of
them. Rikki got her first major and Best of Variety at the OK City Toy Dog Show.
Spring 2009: Asa has moved up to the open class. Rikki got her first point. Indy
got a four-point major (and BOV) and now has a total of 10 points after three show
weekends. We had a blast with the other Manchester folks in Texas!
We had a terrible ice storm in February 2009. Accumulations of over an inch were
common. We were lucky, our power was restored after only four days. (photo
below)
Indy and Rikki went to their first show in December 2008. They did a great job.
Indy took Best of Variety both days. He was expertly handled by Tarren, who also
placed in Junior Showmanship both days. Asa did very well too. Only one more
first place win to go before he moves up to the Open Junior class.
Our fall was filled with doctor appointments. Kent had double bypass surgery in
September 2008. Thankfully, his recovery has been remarkable. We appreciate
all the kind words and prayers.
The new puppies were born in June. They are so much fun. Tarren is counting
the days until he has his Miss Marmaduke back in the ring.
Asa was awarded Best Junior Handler at the toy specialty in May 2008. Tarren
was chosen for the first place slot in open intermediate.
We had a great time in April. Miss M went OS over the special! She now has 15
points, we are working on that last major to finish her up.
Tarren was awarded the Best Junior Handler for Toy Manchester Terriers (in the
U.S.) for 2007. This is his second year to receive this honor. We are very proud of
him.

Welcome to Our Online Kennel
We are glad you stopped by for a visit. We started showing Toy Manchester
Terriers since 2005 and loved it. We want everyone to know how wonderful these
little dogs are.
If you think you'd like to own a TMT, you are in the right place. Read more about
